Michigan's turkey season is from mid-
 April through the end
of May. Licenses available by draw
or over the counter
from Jan. 1 to Feb. 1.

Leftover hunting licenses are available after March 15 and can be applied for or purchased online at
the Michigan DNR.

Michigan is home
to the Eastern sub-species of wild turkey and boasts a turkey population of some 250,000 birds.
